Under general supervision, the Marketing Specialist (Georgia Access for Business) develops, implements and plans a marketing strategy. Creates marketing materials such as brochures, flyers and posters for distribution. Assists in developing strategies for identifying potential customers and determining most appropriate methods for contact. Assists in the implementation of marketing plans. Assists in the selection of products and accessories to be displayed at trade or special production shows. Compile lists describing product or service offerings. Develops effective marketing materials (e.g. exhibits and promotional materials). Ensures department's business plan and costs are kept in line with agency priorities. Establishes and maintains a working relationship with area business community, internal and external agency customers, and other related contacts. Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate degree in marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Marketing Spec 1 (GSP070) or position equivalent.
