Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Louisville, KY, seeks an in-office Small Business Banker to manage and grow relationships with local small business clients, including sole proprietors and nonprofits.

You will consult with clients by phone and collaborate with branch bankers, underwriters and product specialists to tailor financial solutions—deposits, loans, merchant services, payroll, ACH/Wires and treasury services.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree is required.
• 5 years of sales/relationship management experience in banking/financial products.
• Strong knowledge of how a business operates and the financial solutions used by Small Business clients.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct business via telephone with clients.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients via telephone to assess needs and propose financial solutions; perform applications and fulfillments directly when needed.
• Manage or resolve complex servicing issues for clients by leveraging Truist resources.
• Proactively contact targeted clients to discuss impact of Truist services and set up deeper conversations.
• Facilitate credit requests within Retail Community Bank thresholds and refer larger opportunities when appropriate.
• Meet quarterly revenue/profit growth and service excellence goals.
