Job summary

Butler, through the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC), seeks a Business Advisor to counsel entrepreneurs, develop and deliver training, and track client progress using Neoserra CMS in an eight-county region including Indianapolis.

Responsibilities include one-on-one counselling, program development, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing learning to support small business growth in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Provide one-on-one counselling to entrepreneurs and small business owners on business topics
• Develop and deliver training programs for local small businesses
• Track client progress using the Neoserra CMS and ensure SBA counselling standards are met

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counselling to entrepreneurs and small business owners on business planning, financing, marketing, management, and operations.
• Develop and deliver training programs for local small businesses on key business topics.
• Track client progress using the Neoserra CMS, ensuring data accuracy and SBA counselling standards.
• Meet performance metrics set by the SBA and the State of Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director and Deputy Regional Director to engage with local business leaders and organizations.
• Participate in community events to promote ISBDC services.
• Stay informed about trends in small business and economic development.
