BeyondBooks Solutions offers remote business advisory and bookkeepingservices tailored for construction industry business owners. They focuson QuickBooks Online management, job costing, budgeting, and analyticsto help businesses save time, improve cash flow, and increase profits.

This role includes:

• Collaborating with client project managers to develop detailed, cost-effective budgets for construction projects.
• Performingaccounting duties throughout the project lifecycle, such as preparinginvoices, estimating cash flow, and approving purchase orders.
• Analyzing all transactions and incorporating unforeseen costs into the budget.
• Maintaining records of all project finances for internal/external auditing and tax purposes.
• Preparing cost analysis by interpreting financial data and information.
• Reporting financial risks and budget discrepancies to management for review.
• Researching market trends and projecting construction-related price fluctuations.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors and suppliers.
• Staying updated with developments in both the construction and accounting industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience in construction accounting is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in private or public accounting.
• Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures.
• Quickbooks online experience is a must.
• Working with multiple small businesses at any given time.
• Working knowledge of the construction industry.
• Solid analytical and mathematical skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
