Imagine360 is seeking a Jr. Accountant to join the team! The Jr. Accountant position combines responsibilities from both cash application and accounts receivable roles to ensure efficient financial operations. This role involves processing daily cash application tasks, resolving payment discrepancies, and providing support for various financial tasks.

Position Location: 100% remote

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform daily cash application, resolve discrepancies and ensuring accurate records.
• Perform necessary refunds and payments reallocation while also tracking unapplied cash via a master-file.
• Organize and maintain electronic deposit records, as well as keeping accurate filing records on site.
• Mail sorting and ensuring that all Accounts Receivable items are resolved or forwarded to management for proper guidance.
• Batch all in incoming checks and deposit into the bank, while also recording cash in our system.
• Assisting with researching payment discrepancies for ACH payments received.
• Perform necessary SIN write-off reversals as needed.
• Perform necessary payment uploads for bulk billing payers.
• Assist in communications with TPAs to resolve payment errors.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Experience/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 0-1 years of relevant accounting or finance experience required
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience preferred

• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in using basic financial software and tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
