Job summary

The United States Army Reserve is seeking entrants for the Small Arms/Artillery Repairer role. You’ll perform maintenance and repairs to keep a wide array of weapons—ranging from small arms to field artillery—operating properly. This is not a civilian contractor position and no prior experience is required for entry.

Enlistees must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, aged 17 to 34, with a high school diploma or GED.

Job description

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and As a Small Arms/Artillery Repairer, you’ll perform maintenance and repairs and keep a wide array of weapons, from small arms to field artillery and large ballistic missiles operating properly. This is not a civilian contractor position. No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

• No Medical Concerns

TESTING & CERTIFICATIONS

• 86 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available
• 10 weeks of Basic Training
• 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
• 92 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM)

OR

• 88 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM)
• 85 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT)
