Job summary

United States Army Reserve seeks candidates to enlist as Soldiers and become certified Biomedical Equipment Specialists (68A). You will service and maintain medical equipment with a broad range of systems, perform calibrations and preventive maintenance, inspect for serviceability, troubleshoot, and install equipment while documenting all services.

This is an entry-level, non-civilian-contractor position. Requirements include U.S.

Qualifications

• No experience required for entry level enlistment.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident with valid Green Card.
• Meet all eligibility criteria for enlistment.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain medical equipment across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, digital, optical, and radiological systems.
• Perform calibrations, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and replace defective components.
• Document services performed and ensure proper installation and power/space considerations.

Job description

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and become a certified Biomedical Equipment Specialist (68A) who is responsible for servicing and maintaining all medical equipment with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, digital, optical, and radiological principles. You’ll perform calibrations and preventive maintenance, inspect equipment for serviceability, perform operational checkout procedures, troubleshoot and isolate malfunctions, replace and repair defective components, install medical equipment considering power and space requirements, and record all services performed. This is not a civilian contractor position. No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

• Meet Tattoo Guidelines
• No Major Law Violations
• No Medical Concerns
