Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine in Glendale, AZ, invites applications for a Visiting Instructor- AZ- College of Veterinary Medicine. This one-year Small Animal Rotating Internship begins June 2027 and is a full-time clinical appointment at the faculty rank of Visiting Instructor.

Interns will rotate through Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Primary Care, and Anesthesia, while maintaining records, communicating with clients, and supporting

Qualifications

DVM or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Eligibility for Arizona veterinary licensure before start.
Strong clinical communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient-centered care.
Ability to collaborate in a teaching-hospital environment.
Commitment to professional growth and education of students.

Responsibilities

Rotate through Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Primary Care, and Anesthesia.
Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with clients and referring veterinarians.
Participate in rounds and contribute to veterinary student education.
Evening and overnight rotations with ICU coverage; two days off per week.
