Job summary

Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time Small Animal Internal Medicine faculty position in Glendale, AZ. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of internists and residents, contributing to teaching, clinical care, and a growing academic program.

The appointment may be tenure-track or non-tenure-track, with opportunities for clinical research, mentorship, and curriculum development within the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree and eligibility for Arizona veterinary licensure.
• Board certification (or eligibility) by ACVIM or ECVIM.
• Evidence of excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Understanding of patient-centered care.
• Willingness to engage in collaborative clinical research.
• Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring students.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor veterinary students in small animal internal medicine.
• Provide clinical service in the Companion Animal Clinic.
• Contribute to curriculum development and scholarly activities.
• Mentor interns and residents and foster professional growth.
