Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time position within the Small Animal Internal Medicine service at UW Veterinary Care. Faculty will teach clinical and didactic units to veterinary students, interns, and residents, and engage in scholarly activity to support academic clinical practice,

Qualifications

• Commitment to teaching and clinical instruction of DVM students, interns and residents.
• Experience in academic or specialty practice settings is preferred.
• Clear engagement in scholarly activity supporting clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Clinical and didactic teaching of veterinary students, interns and residents.
• Participation in continuing education programs for veterinarians.
• Conduct clinical or translational research and educational scholarship.
• Engage in service on committees at department, school, and university levels.
