Job summary

Americhem International is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for the Allentown market to install, repair, and maintain commercial cleaning equipment at customer sites. The role emphasizes reliability, communication, and a strong service mindset to support our customers’ needs.

The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 55 pounds, work independently, and communicate effectively while delivering proactive service and maintaining equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or factory certification preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage workflow efficiently and independently.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of general safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnostics, testing, and service on customer equipment and circuits.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve service requests promptly.
• Ensure systems operate efficiently and error-free.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and follow all company service standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete work orders.
• Provide quotes for repair work and recommend equipment upgrades when appropriate.
• Assist customers with equipment and parts inventory needs.

Responsibilities

Client Support

• Perform on-site diagnostics, testing, and service on customer equipment and circuits
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve service requests promptly
• Ensure systems operate efficiently and error-free

Equipment & Service

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete work orders
• Provide quotes for repair work and recommend equipment upgrades when appropriate

Shop & Vehicle Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service shop
• Ensure service vehicles are clean, stocked, and maintained

Dispenser Installations

• Install chemical dispensing systems and related equipment for customer accounts

Requirements
