Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with trade operations, settlements, reconciliations, SMAs, or related investment ops.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications; willingness to learn investment ops systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Create new accounts and SMA setups in applicable systems.
• Maintain SMA account information and provide ongoing operational support.
• Set up brokers and SSIs to support trade processing and settlement.
• Review unmatched and failed trades and resolve issues.
• Provide trade optimizer and OMS support, including day-start checks and reconciliations.
• Monitor trade matching, SWIFT messaging, and settlement activity.
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and third parties on trade details and settlements.
• Assist with end-of-day functions: export files, post trades, and generate summaries.
• Produce scheduled and ad hoc reports for trade ops and settlements.
