Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of SMA implementation and execution experience.
• Experience partnering with portfolio managers to support effective implementation outcomes.
• Understanding of SMA processes and instruments (equities, ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income).
• Familiarity with US and international traded securities and trading considerations (time, price, volume).
• Experience with Unified Managed Accounts (UMA) or third-party model delivery would be advantageous.
• Interest in exploring how AI can improve workflows while validating outputs and aligning with risk standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement trade directives across SMA and Multi-Asset portfolios.
• Support account events including initial investing, deposits, withdrawals, risk profile changes, tax harvesting and corporate actions.
• Monitor accounts daily for cash and position drift, and rebalance as needed.
• Collaborate with SMA portfolio managers to deliver effective implementation outcomes.
• Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies across accounts and models.
• Translate business needs into clear business requirements and procedural documentation.
• Improve scale, efficiency and control across SMA, Multi-Asset, third-party model delivery and UMA implementations.
• Develop scalable client solutions for multi-component portfolio designs and client-specific requirements.
• Identify potential operational risk issues and mitigate impact to clients and UBS.
