Job summary

NorthCoast Asset Management in Stamford, CT is seeking a SMA & ETF Trading Associate - Option Strategies to join our trade execution team in a full-time role. The position involves building, executing and allocating trades across 7,000+ client accounts and resolving trade breaks with brokers.

The candidate will maintain and analyze trade data for composites, and develop automation using Visual Basic and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to handwrite 200+ lines of Python code.
• Experience with ETF strategies and separately managed accounts preferred.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.
• Proactive communication and follow-up.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency and MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build, execute and allocate trades across 7,000+ client accounts.
• Research and resolve trade and position breaks with brokers.
• Review client restrictions and ensure compliance.
• Maintain trade data for TCA analysis and performance composites.
• Develop automation for operations using Visual Basic and Python.
• Cross-train with operations to reconcile client data and resolve cash issues.
