Job summary

Invesco Ltd. is seeking a Compliance Manager in Seattle to support the Americas Compliance team and a growing SMA program. You will drive pre/post-trade controls, oversee regulatory alignment, and partner with trading, legal, and technology to scale governance across fixed income and advisory platforms.

The role requires deep compliance experience in financial services, knowledge of SMA structures, and strong communication to convey complex regulatory topics to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in Financial Services, with at least five years in Compliance at an investment adviser.
• Experience leading projects with a broad set of stakeholders.
• Direct experience with SMA structures and wealth management platforms.
• Knowledge of Advisers Act of 1940, fiduciary standards, and custodian requirements.
• Understanding regulatory requirements impacting advisory services (e.g., SMAs).
• Familiarity with trading/compliance systems (Investortool Perform).
• Ability to implement procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as Fixed Income Trading Compliance Lead for building rules and reporting within Perform OMS and support the trade desk.
• Own and improve workflows and monitoring processes, including pre- and post-trade compliance.
• Represent compliance in SMA team initiatives and raise risks with solutions.
• Review client agreements, IPS documents, state statutes, and platform manuals.
• Liaise between business leaders and Compliance to resolve issues; present complex information clearly.
• Oversee regulatory deployment in product launches and monitor requirements across the firm.
• Lead projects involving technology/data to develop, automate, and test compliance processes.
