Job summary

Scharmach Automotive Group in Seattle is seeking a Service Porter to support the service team by moving vehicles, greeting customers, and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will safely transport cars to and from the service area and parking lots, and assist with light cleaning and prep as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Washington state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles including manual transmission.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Safely move vehicles to and from the service area and parking.

• Perform light vehicle cleaning and preparation as needed.
• Assist with vehicle delivery to customers after service.
• Shuttle customers to/from the dealership, work, or home as needed.

• Retrieve parts, supplies, or tools as required.
• Conduct visual inspections for damage and report findings.
• Ensure keys are properly stored and accounted for.

As a Service Porter at Scharmach Automotive Group, you will support the service team by ensuring smooth vehicle movement and a welcoming environment for customers.
