Job summary

Teradyne in Austin, TX is seeking a Field Applications Engineer in SLT (System Level Testing) to develop and deploy test solutions for Digital, High-Speed Digital, SoC, and Analog devices. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to optimize test coverage and throughput.

The role requires 5–8 years in semiconductor testing, experience with SLT platforms, and travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. A MS/BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or related fields.
• 5-8 years of semiconductor testing experience and IC testing project work.
• Experience in SLT, functional testing, and system-level debugging.
• Development experience on Teradyne or other SLT platforms.
• It is a plus to have experience with ATE test/product engineering in relevant tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug and deploy SLT test solutions for Digital, High-Speed Digital, SoC, Mixed Signal and Analog devices.
• Develop knowledge and expertise on SLT system integration.
• Test program software development in collaborative environments.
• Analyze problems and optimize Teradyne SLT throughput.
• Assist customers to understand and improve test processes.
• Provide training, technical exchanges and technical papers for customers.
• Develop strong customer relations at a technical level, to gain insights into customer needs.
