Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students at Furr High School and Edison Middle School in East Side Houston.

This contract role requires on-site presence at two campuses and offers a chance to contribute to IEP-driven goals across two locations. Qualifications

• Active Texas SLPA license required at the time of application with license screenshot.
• Experience providing school-based speech-language pathology services.
• Experience as an SLPA or in a closely related school-based role.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute between Furr High School and Edison Middle School.
• On-site work only; fingerprinting must be completed within three days of contract signing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support student progress in communication goals as outlined in IEPs.
• Collaborate with educators and therapists to foster student success.
• Document sessions and maintain progress reports in compliance with school procedures.
• Adapt quickly between two school settings and manage caseload effectively.
