Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide one-to-one therapy in children’s homes, focusing on communication, feeding and swallowing skills. Work in environments where children are most comfortable and supported.

You will be supervised by a licensed SLP, support treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with families and the care team to promote patient progress and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLPA program.
• Current Texas SLPA license or eligibility.
• One year of experience preferred, new graduates welcome.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support treatment plans addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing needs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and care team.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each child’s goals.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote carryover and progress.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications
