Job summary

Arizona Autism United (AZA United) invites you to join as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support our Speech and Language Services program under supervision of a licensed SLP. This full-time role covers a mix of therapy delivery, data collection, and family collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

The position follows M-F hours (9–5 or 10–6), located at the West Valley Center in Avondale, with a competitive hourly wage and a schedule-raise program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences or related field with required coursework.
• Completion of certified training program for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• SLPA license from the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment per supervising SLP and written plans.
• Implement therapy goals in individual and group settings.
• Data collection and record keeping for services delivered.
• Participate in training/shadowing with supervisors and families.
• Offer intervention strategies to families for speech goals.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and families.
