Job summary

New Boces is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support eligible students at the Powder River Basin Children's Center in Gillette, Wyoming. This role involves carrying out speech/language objectives, discussing ongoing programs with the Speech Pathologist, and providing necessary assistance for student learning.

The ideal candidate will have relevant education, be eligible for SLPA certification, and demonstrate skills in administering therapy and monitoring student behavior. Competitive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required.
• Eligible for SLPA certification/licensure in Wyoming.
• Experience with student therapy and instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers immediate first aid and medical assistance.
• Assists students with personal hygiene and life skills.
• Implements treatment plans developed by Speech Therapist.
• Monitors students in various school environments.
