Job summary

Telespeech Therapy in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our outpatient clinic. Working under a licensed SLP, you will support patients across the lifespan, implement treatment plans, collect data, and help with documentation and care coordination.

This role offers a flexible schedule as full-time or part-time, competitive hourly pay of $35.00-$45.00, and a collaborative, patient-centered team with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in an accredited SLPA program or related field.
• Current, active California SLPA license.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience with pediatric and/or adult patients in outpatient settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions in outpatient clinic.
• Support patient progress and collect treatment data.
• Maintain accurate therapy documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with families, physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
