Telespeech Therapy Inc. in Bakersfield, California, is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our outpatient clinic.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy to patients across the lifespan, helping them achieve meaningful communication goals with a supportive team. Qualifications

• Associate degree in SLPA or related field required.
• Current California SLPA license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience with pediatric/adult patients in outpatient setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct SLPA services under licensed SLP supervision.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
• Deliver individual and group therapy in the outpatient clinic.
• Use evidence-based strategies for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Help patients develop communication skills for home, school, work and community.
• Document progress and communicate with the supervising SLP and care team.
