Job summary

Maryland Works, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver AAC/AT services and SLP-supported therapy to diverse clients. You will drive to multiple locations across Central Maryland and adapt to changing schedules and caseloads.

The ideal candidate holds an ASHA‑accredited Bachelor’s degree, active SLPA licensure, and strong organizational and communication skills. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree from ASHA‑accredited university.
• Must have completed clinical requirements for SLPA per Maryland Board of Examiners and ASHA.
• Active state licensure as SLPA required.

Responsibilities

• Provide AT setup and training across physical access, cognitive, and low vision.
• Deliver AAC training based on plans by a licensed SLP.
• Troubleshoot AAC/AT tools and support equipment.
• Prepare training materials and resources.
