Job summary

Maryland Works in Baltimore seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver AAC, AT, and SLP services across Central Maryland. You will work with a licensed SLP to implement plans, train clients and caregivers, and travel to multiple locations as needed.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited program, active SLPA licensure in Maryland, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 25 lbs, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from ASHA-accredited university.
• Active SLPA licensure in Maryland.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Experience with AAC/AT service provision preferred.
• Willingness to drive to locations across Central Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide AT setup and training in physical access, cognitive, and low vision.
• Provide AAC training services based on plans by a licensed SLP.
• Assist with troubleshooting AAC and AT tools.
• Assist with preparing and organizing training materials and resources.
• Prepare written reports as required.
