Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher required; or high school diploma with 48 credit hours.
• Ability to move around room to monitor students and assist in instruction.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to support instructional programs under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and assists students under the direction of a Speech/Language Pathologist or administrator.
• Assists with behavior management and/or medical plans.
• Provides professional communication with staff and parents under supervision.
• Assists in assembling and preparing instructional materials; reinforces learning.
• Maintains a clean, safe workspace and supports students' daily health tasks.
• Participates in staff development and protects student confidentiality.
