Job summary

Packers Staffing is seeking a Speech Therapist to plan, organize, develop, and direct Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with applicable standards. This PRN role is based in Suring, WI, with opportunities to impact residents through collaborative care.

The position requires a Master0;s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and active licensure in the practicing states. Ongoing CE and professional development are encouraged to maintain licensure and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master0;s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency required.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• To develop a treatment plan with target list, short-term and long-term goals.
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in speech-language procedures for carry over.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation in CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR system.
• Oversight and implementation of FEES/MBS protocols with site coordination.
• Participate in screening protocols to establish resident needs timely and with clinical excellence.
