UAB Medicine is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language therapy at UAB St. Vincent's Blount. The role involves delivering therapy, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate clinical records in a high-demand setting.

• Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations.
• Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services. Provide information regarding appropriate support programs.

• Schedule: Work when full-time staff are on PTO and during times of high patient census.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist/Audiologist according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama State Board of Speech Language Pathology required.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited program relevant to professional licensure required.
