Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Boise in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This 40-bed critical care hospital provides acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced, patient‑centered environment.

You will assess and treat patients under physician orders, develop therapy plans, document progress, and collaborate with the care team. Required credentials include a current SLP license, CCC-SLP or CFY, ASHA membership, and BLS

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• CCC-SLP or CFY in process required.
• Member of ASHA required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients, including assessment and treatment.
• Plan and implement therapy programs with documentation; communicate with the care team under physician orders.

Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team!

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Speech-Language Pathologist services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year required.
• Member of American Speech-Language and Hearing Association required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
