Job summary

Banner Churchill Community Hospital in Fallon, Nevada, seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation for speech and language disorders in acute and outpatient settings. Requires MBSS/acute swallow assessment experience and recent clinical proficiency.

The role offers day hours, Monday–Friday, with full-time opportunities and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Must be licensed and CCC/CFY-eligible; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the state of practice; CCC or CFY eligibility; BLS certification.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Proficiency with computer software applications used in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients’ functional abilities to determine intervention and goals.
• Implements individualized treatment plans addressing diverse patient needs.
• Educates patients and families to promote participation and home program adherence.
• Documents treatment per professional and regulatory standards.
• Participates in training of staff and students.
• Follows plan of care and communicates with supervisors on unusual cases.
