Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Salisbury, MO is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The role supports evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, and collaborating with therapists and nursing staff across our Salisbury and Moberly locations; a full-time schedule is offered with flexible hours and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program).
• Valid state SLP license.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology.
