Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Viburnum, MO is seeking a dedicated PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, helping patients improve speech, language, and quality of life. This as-needed role offers flexible scheduling in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active and valid Missouri Speech-Language Pathology license.
• CCC from ASHA preferred.
• Prior experience in speech therapy is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to enhance communication and swallowing function.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
