Job summary

Emerald Staffing Group is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for Bay Area home health. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive and fluency disorders, and educate patients and families while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted CA Speech Therapist License.
• BLS/CPR Certification valid in CA.
• Valid CA Driver's License; driving to patient homes may be required.
• Home health care experience preferred; high‑acuity patients a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled services to assist patients with breathing, speaking, and swallowing functions.
• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive and fluency disorders affecting communication.
• Educate patients and families; advocate for patients; participate as a team member on the care team.

Facility Information: Our client is the largest home health agency in San Francisco and the fastest growing in the Bay area, providing care to over 2500 patients.

Position Information: In partnership with the Case Manager you will provide skilled services to assist patients with breathing, speaking, and swallowing functions. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive and fluency disorders that affect communication. You will serve as an educator, patient advocate and a member of the interdisciplinary care team.
