Qualifications

• ND DPI Certification of Completion in speech-language pathology issues.
• Speech-Language Pathology Licensed Assistant license issued by the ND Board.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services under the direction of a speech-language pathologist.
• Assist supervising SLP with lesson planning for students.
• Perform tasks developed by the supervising SLP.
• Document student progress toward IEP goals and objectives.
• Prepare materials, scheduling, and maintain space or equipment.
• Participate in IEP meetings with the supervising SLP.
• Work with students individually or in groups.
• Assist with speech-language screenings.
• Complete Medicaid billing paperwork for eligible students.
• Comply with speech pathology licensed assistant supervision requirements.
