Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• 60 semester hours in normal aspects of human communication and clinical techniques.
• 300 clock hours of supervised practicum with various communication disorders.
• ND Teaching License with SLP certification and Special Education Credential.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, and students.
• Provides thorough assessment and diagnosis of speech, voice, and language impairments.
• Provides screening to identify speech-impaired children; refers to agencies and specialists as needed.
• Delivers individualized therapy programs to meet student needs and correct disorders.
• Collaborates with teachers to implement programs in daily activities.
• Provides information, support, and counseling to parents and families.
