Gersh Autism Academy seeks an experienced Speech Language Pathologist Lead to oversee speech and language services for students aged 5-21 in the Bronx. You will lead a team of SLPs, collaborate with educators and families, and drive program development and evidence-based practices.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, NY licensure, CCC-SLP, and 5+ years of school-based experience with leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and NY license.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
• 5+ years of direct school-based SLP experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience mandatory.
• TSSLD certification preferred.
• PROMPT Training is a plus.
• Experience mentoring and supervising other SLPs, CFs, or SLPA.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct speech therapy services.
• Mentor and supervise department staff (may include supervisory hours).
• Oversee therapy documentation and compliance.
• Coordinate services with other departments or school teams.
• Help manage caseload assignments and students' plan of care.
• Assist with department-wide administrative tasks.
• Auditing SOAP notes, progress marks, and annual reviews.
