Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for Kindred Hospital ARU Denver. The role focuses on assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, developing individualized plans, educating patients and families, and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
