Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation in Aurora, CO is recruiting a Speech-Language Pathologist to join Kindred Hospital, LTACH Aurora.

You’ll assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities, develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs, and collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatment.

Documentation of evaluations and progress is required, and ongoing professional development is encouraged as part of our commitment to community health.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
