Job summary

Kindred Hospital, LTACH Aurora is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will develop CT plans, educate patients and families, document progress, and collaborate with care teams. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Requirements include BLS within 30 days and ACLS/PALS within six months. One year of experience preferred; ASLS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
