Job summary

Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist I to deliver services to a diverse student population in a full-day non-public or public-private setting. You will implement and document services per each student&39;s IEP and maintain records to comply with standards.

You will collaborate with families, school staff, and other professionals, develop and modify IEPs, and participate in team trainings to support student outcomes across ages.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with related clinical requirements.
• Must have CCC-SLP certification.
• Must be eligible for Maryland State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working with children who have communication disorders.
• PCM training will be provided and certification at Practitioner level (or higher) required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language assessments and services to students per IEP.
• Implement and document services addressing identified needs and impact on educational benefit.
• Maintain records to comply with standards and participate in team trainings.
• Develop and modify IEPs in cooperation with ACT office and LSS.
• Collaborate in intradisciplinary/interdisciplinary activities and professional training.
• Support school mission with a student-centered culture; competence across all ages.
