Roseville Care Center is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team in Roseville, CA. This position focuses on improving residents' communication, cognition, and swallowing safety within an interdisciplinary setting.

This full-time role starts at $65.00 per hour (DOE). You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, supervise CFYs or students where applicable, and contribute to program development and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a qualifying educational background required for professional licensure.
• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and computer applications.
• Experience with Net Health and PointClickCare preferred.

Responsabilités

• Resident Evaluation and Treatment: Evaluate residents to determine speech-language pathology needs, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and established goals.
• Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions to address communication, cognitive function, and swallowing difficulties.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals, therapeutic exercises, maintenance programs, and aspiration prevention strategies.
• Recommend appropriate equipment and interventions to support safe swallowing, communication, and cognitive independence.
