Job summary

Roseville Care Center in Roseville, CA seeks a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. Starting at $65.00 per hour, DOE, full-time opportunity, with meaningful work impacting residents’ health and independence.

Responsibilities include resident evaluation, planning and delivering therapies, education to families, supervision of CFYs, and interprofessional collaboration. Licensure in CA required; CPR may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent for licensure.
• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems.
• Experience with Net Health and PointClickCare preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary healthcare team and provide resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech-language needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for communication, cognitive, and swallowing issues.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on goals and exercises.
• Recommend equipment to support safe swallowing and communication.
• Communicate progress with physicians, nursing staff, and families.
• Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and students as applicable.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in medical records.
