Job summary

Roseville Care Center in Roseville, CA is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. The position offers full-time hours with a starting pay of $65.00 per hour, DOE, in a collaborative clinical setting.

The SLP will assess and treat residents’ speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs. You’ll work with physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop individualized plans that improve daily living and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required for licensure.
• Master’s or doctoral degree preferred.
• CA license required; CPR may be required by policy.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine SLP needs and goals.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy addressing communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on goals and exercises.
• Supervise CFYs/students as applicable.
