Job summary

Lakeport Post Acute is seeking compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join our therapy team in full-time and part-time capacities. We offer competitive pay of $65-$70/hour and a collaborative interdisciplinary environment in Lakeport, CA.

You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, and work with physicians, nursing staff, residents and families to restore independence and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active California SLP license.
• CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident goals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy teams, residents, and families.
• Conduct dysphagia assessments and interventions.
• Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
