Job summary

Merakey seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our Mount Pleasant, PA team. You will provide therapies addressing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in K-12 settings, develop and evaluate IEPs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote student well-being.

Qualifications

• State required license - Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Master's Degree required.
• Experience working with children with autism is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical assessments; identifies clients needs.
• Documents, prepares/revises IEPs, progress notes, and other clinical records.
• Analyzes client needs and implements IEP-based care.
• Meets mandatory continuing education requirements.
• Provides plan and evaluation for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders; maintains records.
• Educates client/family about deficits and IEP plans; collaborates with family.
