Job summary

Merakey is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our School team in Hampden Township. This full-time role provides services to students in grades K-12, delivering therapies to address speech, language, and related disorders.

You will plan and implement IEPs, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing professional development. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a structured school-based schedule.

Qualifications

• State required license - Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in Acute Care or Rehabilitation setting preferred
• Experience working with children with autism preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical assessments and identifies client needs.
• Documents and revises IEPs, progress notes, and clinical records.
• Analyzes client needs and administers appropriate care per IEP.
• Maintains continuing education requirements for licensure.
• Provides treatment for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders with tests and measurements.
• Educates clients and families about deficits and communication strategies.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
