Job summary

Lakeshore Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Slidell, LA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents' communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills. You will collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to develop individualized plans and support residents in regaining confidence.

This PRN/on-call role offers pay of $38–$60 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Louisiana.
• New graduates completing CFY are encouraged to apply.
• VitalStim certification preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Help residents regain confidence in communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills.
• Collaborate daily with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary care teams.
