Job summary

Klamath Falls City Schools KECDC (ECI) in Klamath Falls, Oregon, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support EI/ECSE services for children birth to five in classrooms, homes, and community settings.

Responsibilities include evaluating disorders, developing IFSPs/IEPs, guiding families, and collaborating with teachers. Oregon licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; district offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing PD.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved speech pathology program.
  • Oregon teaching license with SLI endorsement and licensure as a speech-language pathologist.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY supervision available.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose students with communication disorders and prescribe interventions.
  • Develop IFSPs and IEPs for birth-to-five children.
  • Communicate with families through conferences and calls.
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to eligible students.
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations for birth to five years.
  • Deliver services in classrooms, homes, and community settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to design supports.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs as required.
  • Maintain documentation and Medicaid billing timely.
  • Participate in professional development and program improvement.
