Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in Virginia is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) to join our team and complete the required fellowship under supervision.

You will work in a hospital or clinic setting, provide patient-centered therapy across cognitive-communication, swallowing, and communication disciplines, and advance your licensure while collaborating with licensed professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Licensed, certified, or credentialed, as required in the state.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum 36 weeks Clinical Fellowship under supervision and mentorship by a licensed SLP.
• Meet state licensure requirements and CMS supervision guidelines for Medicare patients.
• Communicate fellowship/licensure status to supervisor and rehab director in a timely manner.
• Maintain supervision for students as applicable and meet productivity standards.
• Attend patient care, staffing conferences and related meetings.
• Refer to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs.
• Collaborate with rehab team to select appropriate therapeutic regimens.
• Adapt plan of care to patient progress and ensure safety and quality of care.
