Job summary

Platinum Therapy in Coachella, California is seeking a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for an in-person school-based position. You will work under a licensed SLP to serve Spanish- and English-speaking students in a school setting.

This full-time, school-year role offers $44–$60/hour with mileage reimbursement, guaranteed hours for qualifying full-time positions, and a sign-on bonus. Experience is preferred but not required; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Current California SLPA license/authorization required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with SLPs, educators, families and other professionals.
• Passion for working with children and supporting educational and communication development.

Responsibilities

• Implement speech and language therapy plans developed by the supervising SLP.
• Provide therapy services to students in English and/or Spanish.
• Support students in achieving their IEP communication goals.
• Track and document student progress.
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, school staff and other members of the educational team.
• Communicate effectively with Spanish- and English-speaking students and families.
• Provide culturally responsive support to students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
• Maintain accurate therapy documentation and follow school and Platinum Therapy requirements.
